U-PVC PRESSURE PIPES
BEST QUALITY EVER FOR PRESSURE SYSTEME
DESCRIPTION
SOTICI’s PRESSURE pipes supplied in dark grey standard color (available in black color upon request). Standard lengths of 5,80m (for delivery in 20′ container) and 6m. Pipes are delivered with push fit EPDM rubber ring (ANGER) or with pre-sleeved cement glue AC fitting at one end. The male end is chamfered for pipe jointing.
ADVANTAGES
- Corrosion : PVC Pressure pipes remain unaffected by all types of corrosion .
- Abrasion : Excellent resistance to abrasion as compared to other traditional materials.
- Water Tightness : Solvent cement and push fit rubber ring jointing systems provide a perfect sealing of network connections.
- Water Hammer Resistance : Reduced water hammer effects due to slower surge celerity (at one third less than the rate of metalic pipes).
- Hydraulicity : Excellent hydraulic coefficient (k = 0,01) ensuring negligible head loss and reduced pumping cost.
- Shock Resistance : SOTICI pipes have an exceptional shock resistance qualities; they show absolutely no damage or deformations under impact tests.
- Installation : Spectacular weightlessness permits easy installation of pipes.
- Food Grade : No influence on the quality of drinking water and no alteration of its composition.
JOINTTING SYSTEMS
SOTICI Pressure pipes could be assembled in two different methods :
- Solvent cement socket.
- Push fit rubber ring (ANGER).

ANGER RUBBER RING

The ANGER rubber ring is perfectly adapted for pressure pipes and guarantee an optimum tightness. The design and the shape of this seal ensure a combined of lip and compression functions
Made by EPDM (Ethylène Propylène Diène Monomère), this seal have a hardness of 60-65 Shore A and its not toxic for drinking water pipelines.
MARKING
SOTICI’s Pressure pipes are marked to ensure full traceability of our products. In addition to the date and production time, we can go back to the raw material which was used to produce the pipe. The marking is composed by :
For specific projects, this marking can be adapted according to the customer’s request.
FOOD GRADE
SOTICI’s Pressure pipes are food grade certified by Eurofins laboratory test (France) under the number 16 MAT NY 035. For drinking water supply and environmental networks, SOTICI uses materials that respect the environment and the health of consumers. For more information, consult our following certificate.
